|2nd Indo-German conference on Technology Trends and Developments in Packaging Printing
Date: 26-27 November 2010
Location: Hotel Novotel, Mumbai, India
"The world economy has proved to be most fragile in recent times with growth in developed
countries being rather pedestrian, resulting in the hope of new volumes being found
in developing markets. As packaging growth is tied to the world economy the technology
and information dissemination is an important guide for success. Global social changes
and the importance of sustainable development in the areas of social, economic
and the environment are of great importance." (World Packaging Organisation)
The major packaging consumption in Asia and India ranks number 12 with huge potential.
This naturally puts great demands on "packaging printing". Consumers' quality expectations
are increasing and consequently also the demands of the end-user industry, such as
retail chain and industrial goods suppliers, who are putting pressure on the printers
for tighter tolerances in decorating their packages. As a result, the printing industry
is facing new challenges in reproduction processes to produce high quality on various
substrates using different printing and finishing processes.
We are looking forward to welcome you at our 2nd Packaging Printing Conference!
